Now largely forgotten, Sir Arhur Quiller-Couch was, in the first half the 20th century, a world famous writer of both fiction, writing as Q.
He was far more than that, though, as his numerous works of fiction actually recounted and fictionalised oral history which would have been otherwise lost.
Q also created The Oxford Anthology of English Verse which sold over a million copies and was also fundamental in the creations of over one hundred primary schools in the county of his birth.
He also created the Cambridge University School of English Language and Literature and his public lectures were attended by over one thousand people.
Ellixia are proud to present twenty anthologies which relate Q's fiction to the actual, real, events and identify the locations he described so beautifully.
